Description | Letter from 58 Rutland Gate, London, S.W. 7 on 29 June 1931 saying that he has been reading his story about the crisis of 1916. It seems to be generally correct but he is mistaken as to the time when he, Curzon and Cecil saw Asquith. He states that the first and only meeting took place not on Monday 4th but on Tuesday 5th June 'shortly before the meeting with his liberal colleagues at which he announced his decision to resign.' Accompanied by a corrected typed transcript. |
