Letter from 58 Rutland Gate, London, S.W. 7 on 30 October 1931 thanking him for the telegram. He states 'I had expected 60000 - not 12000'. 'What a smashing defeat for the quitters & what a lesson to politicians to have courage'. He is awaiting a happy outcome to their cause but he is not altogether happy about Bennett's attitude'. Accompanied by a typed transcript.
