Description | Letter written on headed notepaper of Treasury Chambers, Whitehall, S.W addressed 'Dear Mr Warr' and dated 5 December concerning arrangements to meet the following week. Chamberlain proposes to travel by train from Birmingham, presumably to Liverpool, and then drive straight to Warr's house. He makes reference to a lunch with the Liberal Unionists and then to his plans to take the 11 pm boat to Dublin where he has Treasury business
The letter has been annotated, presumably by Warr. The details relating to the arrangements for travel are underline in blue crayon and there are pencil notes at the foot of the letter which appear to relate to details for getting to the docks.
