| Description | Results of various athletics meetings held across the United Kingdom during the mid-late 20th century with heavy coverage during the 1970s. Results list the names of individual athletes, their times and positions and often the name of the club they represent. Some results include intermediate time sheets and some carry annotations.
It appears that a number of these results were sent to John Jewell for his personal records. There is heavy representation of road racing and ultra distance racing although there are some results for cross country racing; track and field events; and mountain and fell running. Results from the first all female marathon, held in 1976, are included. |
