| Description | Various results from non-UK athletics meetings with heavy coverage from the 1970s. Results list the names of individual athletes, their times and positions and often the name of the club they represent. There is significant representation from European countries, South Africa and USA as well as individual items relating to events held in India, Spain, Slovakia, New Zealand, Canada and Japan. Results from the 1940s include reports from Indian and Spanish events.
The majority of results are printed or published although some include manuscript annotations and alterations of times. Some events are represented over a number of years including the Comrades Marathon and the Kosice Marathon. There is heavy representation of road racing and ultra distance racing events.
Some related newspaper cuttings are attached to individual results and these have been retained. |
