| Description | Original recordings of oral histories on audio cassette tapes. The majority of cassette tapes include the tape itself and its box, often annotated by John Bromhead. Many recordings are accompanied by bound typescript transcripts which appear to have been compiled at a later date. Some oral histories comprise the recording only, with no transcript available. Original cassette tapes in this sequence have been converted and saved electronically. There are CD listening copies which were created during 2016.
The majority of interviews were conducted by John Bromhead with a small number conducted by Wilf Morgan. Many interviews were recorded at the homes of interviewees. |
