Extent1 item
Date1895
DescriptionWritten from 17 Grove End Road, St John's Wood, N.W., dated 7 July. Alma-Tadema writes that he was prevented from seeing Henschel this afternoon because he had to work (on a painting of flowers) and then found that the lock on his studio was broken, which caused him a lot of trouble. He regrets missing 'the last opportunity I had to hear music in your place before you start for the north'.
