Extent1 item
DescriptionWritten from 17 Grove End Road, St John's Wood, N.W., dated 12 January. Alma-Tadema describes his birthday celebrations, which involved 60 guests, a play, a trip to an inn, supper, and a party with spanish dances. He writes that Frank has told them much about his travels in 'the far & hot regions' and is now hard at work; Alma-Tadema intends to 'settle down to the paint also'.
