DescriptionLetter written from 17 Grove End Road addressed 'Dear Sir' dated 2 February. The letter is written on behalf of her husband agreeing that 'four architect friends' can come to the house and that Lawrence Alma-Tadema prefers that they do not come before 'Saturday the 12th' as by then the 'house will be more advanced'.

It is possible that Mr Horsley is Gerald Horsley (1862–1917) an architect who founded the Art Workers Guild.
