| Administrative History | The Society moved its offices and residences several times. In Highbury the Manor House Estate comprised Manor House, Leigh Road and South House, Leigh Road, including Manor Side, Manor Cottage, Central Post Office, Sorting Office Hamilton Road, Christchurch Parish room. Candidates stayed at Manor House on first coming to London, so too did missionaries returning to England; the house was available for deputations, interviews, monthly prayer meetings, social gatherings and Secretaries' conferences; it was also used to house material loaned for exhibitions.
