| Title | Letter from Nylander to Secretary: 9 December 1811: Sierra Leone |
| Extent | 1 doc. |
| Date | 1811 |
| Description | His bad health forbids him staying on as chaplain any longer and his preaching is objected to as "too Methodistical". He will shortly arrange with Renner for his departure from S. L. The 'Minerva's' delay has caused serious shortages of food and other necessaries. He hears that there is a hitch in Wenzel's arrangements with Perry [see 107]. There are great opportunities in Bullom for a missionary who speaks the language, but 4 Methodists who recently arrived may forestall CMS. |
