DescriptionHe suggests that educated Christian Africans from the U. S. A. might go as missionaries to their own people in Africa and that if the African Institution were interested it might open a correspondence to that end with churches of Africans in the U. S. A. Jenks has communicated his idea to the Secretary of the Philadelphia Presbytery, the President of Georgia University and the Board of Directors of Foreign Missions, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
