| Title | Letter from Renner to Secretary: 18 October 1809: Bashia |
| Extent | 1 doc. |
| Date | 1809 |
| Description | Describes his meeting with Barneth and the Wenzels and their arrival at Bashia in fair health. He acknowledges receipt of letters from Sec. but the boat had to leave before they could answer. There has been some friction with Nylander over the accusations of their "forsaking" Bashia and with Sec. over his making light of Butscher's request [see 2]. The supplies they requested are not for trade, but for maintaining the settlement. |
