DescriptionThey advise that all goods salvaged from the 'Charles' should be auctioned by Carew (who should receive due compensation for the detention of his sloop and the loss of his cargo of rice), and the proceeds be remitted either to a London banker or the commandant of Goree, to whose approval these suggestions are submitted.
The approval of Commandant Chisholm is subjoined.
