| Title | Letter from Wilhelm to Pratt: 26 April 1815: Canoffee |
| Extent | 1 doc. |
| Date | 1815 |
| Description | He lost his translations and books in the Bashia fire. Renner brought the decision of the S. L. missionary meeting to rebuild Bashia with Harrison as schoolmaster, to send Wilhelm to Canoffee and to send the printing press to the S. L. Establishment when it is ready. It was agreed that Wilhelm should devote his time to making an English-Susu vocabulary and writing books, using the printing press in the meantime. He deprecates the decision to hold on at Bashia. MacCarthy is away in Goree and was not consulted. |
