| Title | Letter from Committee to Schulze [Instructions]: 16 June 1815 |
| Extent | 1 doc. |
| Date | 1815 |
| Description | All was doubt and confusion on the Rio Pongas when Sperrhacken arrived, and the Committee is still ignorant of any decisions regarding Bashia and Canoffee. The Rio Nunez was suggested for Schulze's station, but native hostility may make this unpropitious. A meeting of missionaries should be called at S. L. to deliberate the best method of spreading the Gospel now. Great plans are being put in action for S. L. with government goodwill, but personal considerations must not bulk too large in decisions. |
