Description	He now has 29 schoolchildren, having taken 7 liberated slaves. A school house and a rice store must be built. Procuring rice is difficult without a canoe; only 2 are available for occasional hire. He asks for Arabic bibles which the Moslems will eagerly read. He recounts his efforts to undermine superstition.
