| Description | On 28 Aug to 1 Sep he walked to Bramia to deliver CMS instructions to Klein and Hartwig regarding cessation of redeeming slaves, and he procured Fernandez' pinnace to go to Isles de Los whence Capt. Sanders took him to S. L. on 6 Sep to 'select' some formerly enslaved children. He will have to return to Bashia in the pinnace, leaving the children and goods behind, as he has no prospect of a larger craft while the Rio Pongas is closed by the government. |
