Passage has been taken on the 'Wilding', Capt. Gibson, due to sail in Nov for missionaries Schulze and Sperrhacken, schoolmaster and Mrs. Robert Hughes, Mrs. Hartwig, Jellorum Harrison returning to Rio Pongas, and a young Berliner who is to marry Schulze. He is sending church equipment for Basia and Canoffee; barrel organs playing 20 church tunes will follow later.
The Committee approve of Butscher's action regarding Hartwig. They receive him as a scripture interpreter and translator, with missionary salary but not status at present. He hopes to see Governor Maxwell shortly.
