DescriptionOn arrival from S. L. he found that Mungke Bake's folk had built a devil's house near the settlement and sacrificed there. Complaints only brought a warning that harm would come to him if he opposed devil worship.
He wishes to transfer to S. L. but will continue his work with the children until he hears the Committee's views. There is threat of war from the Foulahs and higher prices are demanded for goods. He asks that more English goods be sent.
