Description	Many of his letters home have been lost in the brig 'Thorne'. On 19 Feb the foundation laying ceremony for the church was attended only by the Meisners although headmen and other missionaries had been invited. The children took an active part and were rewarded with oranges. He has redeemed 4 girls who will be useful in the house.
