Description	As Hughes abandoned his station at S. L. he might be caused to repay the Society the cost of his training and being sent out. Hughes may yet regain the Society's confidence and will receive their decision through Chisholm. Any suggestion that Mrs. Hughes was deceived by a Committee member relating to Africa and her health is absolutely denied. Reports of Hughes' "temper and conduct" in S. L. have made the Committee "fear and tremble" concerning him. He is urged to take this opportunity of retrieving his character.
