Description	He has left letters at the Isles de Los to be collected by Appleton en route to England. Having given his opinion of Wenzel and Canoffee he now turns to Wilhelm. He sees him as pious but weak in and incapable of managing older children outside of actual schooling. He blames Wilhelm for such scandals as the older children going into the town for palm wine. Wilhelm has now left Bashia for Canoffee and Renner feels beset by troubles.
