DescriptionExcept in the case of Yongroo the stores for each settlement on board the 'Echo' are less than asked for owing to the general uncertainty. The new schoolmasters are to be placed according to Bickersteth's judgement and to be subject to the missionaries with whom they live. He has heard nothing from Klein and has not written to him. Pratt intends to see Bathurst and obtain from the Colonial Office a declaration that all liberated children will be assigned to CMS in future.
