DescriptionWilliam Randle was interviewed and accepted as a CMS schoolmaster. William Davies and William Tamba were also interviewed and accepted into the Society's care and charge. It was decided that Cates should undertake a journey with Tamba and Davies through the Sherbro, Cosso and Bassa countries to investigate the possibilities of missionary work there. It was resolved that Gambier settlement be given up and the Kleins remove to Leic. Mt. on account of Mrs. Klein's ill health and other considerations.
