DescriptionLittle is happening at the Christian Institution. Only 16 of the townspeople come to worship and he points out the difficulties of persuading 'natives' to do so. The captured people can be compelled to attend by their missionary superintendant. The Freetown Methodists persuaded Wilhelm's candidates to join and be baptized by them. Wilhelm continues with translation while Bull attends to the school.
