TitleLetter from Renner to Pratt: 14 April 1819: Leopold Town
Extent1 doc.
Date1819
DescriptionHe feels that Taylor was unfairly silenced at the Quarterly Meeting. Taylor had been told to act only as a schoolmaster but could not avoid having a superintendant's responsibilities thrust upon him. It would therefore be better if he were allowed to take the government post and salary.
Renner has given a bill upon CMS to Christian Werner, merchant in Giengen near Ulm, Wurttenberg, to recompense him for advancing money to Renner's mother.
