DescriptionHe laments the refusal of most new arrivals in Africa to heed sensible advice about the climate. They consequently often fall victim to fever and Barrett was a case in point.
He hopes that the Committee will make clear in a general letter their opinions concerning the relationship there should be between chaplains and missionaries. He defends his view that the present salaries for a Colonial schoolmaster and -mistress are adequate.
