DescriptionThey feel that he has put undue emphasis on the supposed deficiencies in character of Africans. They believe that the difference between Africans and Europeans in this is only one of degree and the answer is for missionaries to try harder. They assure him that CMS has no intention of quitting West Africa despite the many setbacks there.
It is inferred from Decker's last report that boys and girls assemble together in the same room at his school. This must not happen. Indeed, they should be kept apart as much as is reasonably possible.
