Description	Although much is left to his own discretion other missionaries should be consulted in all important matters, as far as possible; account of superstitions of natives is very affecting "detail these things minutely. They lead our friends to commiserate the heathen"; glad that house was not purchased; hope to receive grants of premises from government; moreover as a general rule no heavy expenses such as that are to incurred without the sanction of the committee at home; proposed maintenance of children in addition to educating them is only to be undertaken on a limited scale and with concurrence of fellow-missionaries; this does not apply to children attending day school [copy].
