DescriptionCorrie, now acting-chaplain in Calcutta, handed over the title deeds of Jay Narain Ghopaul's estate in Benares, and a plan of the property; Committee agreed to defray costs incurred above the endowment of 200 rupees per month; approved Jay Narain's letter asking for governor-general's support for the charity school; they expressed gratitude at the agreement for co-operation and communication implemented with all the missionaries by Corrie before he left Benares; natives and Europeans at Buxar are supporting the building of a church there by small monthly contributions; Mr. and Mrs. Greenwood are now at Chunar after a bad journey in which they lost their baby and both had fever; church-building at Chunar is halted for lack of materials; service is held in Greenwood's house; accounts are sub-joined for Secrole school and the Buxar church project
