We may speak of ourselves as a large body of the members of the church; but as the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel is more properly a representative of the church, and is now extending its exertions to India, a cautious mode of speaking of ourselves is the more requisite"; several missionaries sail for India in the next few months (copy).
