It suggested to me the necessity of making our language as much as possible the medium of intercourse at least with our native priests"; urges need for attaching a CMS missionary to the area; understands Mr. Baker has proposed to Kolhoff's niece, a girl of about 17; at Trichinopoly sorted through Pohle's papers, which included some MSS ready for publication [extract].
