| Description | Records of the Women's Health Advisory Group. In March 1940, Dr [Harold Gilbee] Anderson, Secretary to the Medical Committee, reported on 'A Survey of Health of C. M. S missionaries in the Field (1925-1939)'. The inaugural meeting of the Women's Health Advisory Group was convened by Ena Price, Secretary to the Women Candidates Committee, on the request of the CMS Secretaries, 1 October 1940. The aim of the group was to study the survey and the Medical Committee's recommendations 'especially in so far as it concerns women recruits and nurses' and hence to make recommendations to the Secretaries. |
