Muellor, Professor of Oriental Languages in Munich; information on two African languages is about to be published, though he has had to work by 'stealthy intercourse with the poor Africans who are' 'unlucky slaves in the very heart of what we boldly call civilised Europe'; it would be helpful if he could have some authorisation or testimonial from CMS; his patron Sir Thomas Dyke Acland has promised this also, but has not yet provided one. |
