Description/1: 12 July 1820: has been introduced to knowledge of CMS by Lady Grey, Lady Louis and Rev I. Temple; promises support.
/2: 6 December 1821: sends subscriptions; has heard that governors of Nova Scotia College are to apply for support to CMS; considers 'the interests of religion might better be answered by the establishment of one or two missions here'.
/3: 2 January 1823: has not been able to start a CMS Auxiliary.
/4: 1 November 1823: asks for periodicals and reports 'the zeal manifested in this great cause [is] commensurate with missionary information'.
/5: 29 June 1824: sends donations; has not been able to start an Association; church authorities are averse to it.
/6: 19 July 1825: sends donations.
