Description
Dated 6 October. Schneider and Hoernle have arrived; they were not able to go directly from Persia to Bombay as they were denounced as enemies of Islam while they were at Isfahan; they are to go home for a short time and then proceed to England and India; they have no matrimonial engagements; they have succeeded in moving Muller from Berne to Wurttemberg; with Bernhard Schmid 'I am in a very delicate situation'; Schmid has had a series of letters published in the Hallish Missionary reports concerning his work and the Nilgherry mission.
