Fjellstedt, who had been working temporarily as their Travelling Secretary, transferred himself to the Swedish Missionary Society (mainly because he is Swedish), when it was founded two years ago; at that point Basel stopped paying him his allowances having warned him not to join the new society as it appeared unlikely to last; it has now foundered and Fjellstedt wishes to be taken on again either by CMS or Basel; explains financial difficulties of this as Fjellstedt has a large family; proposes they might share the costs. |
