DescriptionDated 13 July. Missionaries Dietschy, Buhrer and Graner, who are on their way to New York, are to return to Liberia with Sessing as their wants are most easily supplied from the United States. Reports regarding financial accounts of Sessing and Weiss (who left Leghorn for Malta with his family on 20 June). [Theodor] Muller wrote to Basel the same charges against Kugler that he wrote to CMS; Miss J. Hebler had a similar letter from Muller which she sent to Basel; includes extracts from Rev Kugler's letters to Miss Hebler (which have also been sent to the missionaries in Egypt); in Kugler's letters he talks of the importance of missionary vocation and possible sphere of work for female missionary in Egypt; he explains also that the Anglican laws do not permit Muller to marry Miss Hebler.
