/2 Letter, dated 5 November 1826, from Dr Birkenstock to Rev Theophilus Blumhardt: defends Wulff and alleges Williams has confused Wulff's actions with Birkenstock's [in German with translation] (2 items);
/3 Letter, dated 12 December 1826, from Samuel Jackson, Dr Birkenstock and Philip Oakden to Blumhardt: testify that Williams had no authority to interfere by writing to London about Wulff's actions and opinions at the meeting of the Lower Saxony Tract Society; support Wulff and the Basel Missionary Society;
/4 Letter, dated 11 October 1836, from Rev Johann Hartwig Brauer: announces formation of Missionary Society for Northern Germany comprising societies at Bremen, Elmshorn, Hamburg, Louenburg, Lehe, Ritzebuttel and Stade; asks for CMS publications.
