Schlienz will continue to be responsible for foreign correspondence and home-mission visiting. Reports on progress of overseas missions. Offers James Loska, formerly a Jew, from Poland, converted in England, first at Hull and then instructed by Dr Ewald of Bethnal Green. For the next seven months Loska is to assist Mr Schlochow, missionary of the London Society for Promoting Christianity among the Jews, at the Paris Exhibition, but will then be free. Schlienz's father is 91; son is teacher at Kornthal, daughter Anne is with her aunt, Mrs Hutton, at Bath.
