Description	Dated 11 July. Two Vei men have asked him for copies of the scriptures in their language; the Veis invented the characters of the language themselves and maintained 'an extensive epistolary correspondence'; Mr Koelle of CMS studied the language in 1849 and brought away three Vei manuscripts with translations; asks for Mrs Kemble to contact CMS and obtain some printed works in Vei for Blyden's use.
