Description
Dated 10 May. As Mr and Mrs Barneth now appear to have more children than the girl of seven, and the Committee dislike separating children from their parents, he enquires if all the children would be able and willing to accompany their parents to Africa. Regrets non arrival of Renner's letter and CMS literature; will send more copies of the latter. Mr and Mrs Hartwig have been very ill with fever. Renner has worked with great acceptance; he will remain in Freetown until a chaplain arrives; when health allows all the missionaries will be settled together in a Susu town.
