| Description | This committee was concerned with 'Advance', including the the advance of work amongst women ('Women's Work') and in 'Native Churches'. It made efforts to reach different sections of the community, including work amongst men, amongst women and girls, members of Oxford and Cambridge Universities, Bible Classes; making use of commissions, conferences, Missionary Missions, circulation of missionary literature including the introduction of 'Slips of Latest Information' whereby extracts from proof copies of the Society's Magazines were circulated by friends of the Society for use by newspaper Editors and insertion in parish magazines etc. |
