Description | Printed reports of Centenary Committee B and its [sectional] sub-committees 18 March 1896-25 July 1899, with an index, and manuscript amendments and annotations added up to 1901. A few manuscript notes and typescript papers are loosely inserted at the back of the volume, including an extract from the minutes of the Ecclesiastical Sub-Committee 2 March 1896 concerning official communications between Bishop and laymen and draft minutes for the General Committee recording receipt of the reports and action to be taken action to thereon 14 November 1899.
The reports have marginalia in red ink cross referencing manuscript notes that have been added on the ruled pages with which the reports are interleaved; the notes record action taken by the various CMS committees and sub-committees further to the report. Each report has a separate page number sequence; the volume is also paginated in a continuous number sequence.
