DescriptionChiefly reports on the missions and correspondence 1931-1932 and papers, including correspondence and memoranda, further to disquiet expressed regarding CMS relationship to the Oxford Group Movement.

The missions took place, some over eight to ten days, others over a weekend, in centres such as Birmingham, York, Bristol and Dublin. The aim was to 'bring men to a fuller experience of the living Christ as Saviour and Lord, and a call to enlist in His service for the salvation of the World' (R. Chlamers, Home Secretary 1931).
