| Description | He explains the renting of the CMS house in which he now resides. He feels that the people here are "too much possessed of party names and party spirit" to attend to religion. He does, however, believe the Colony to be the proper field of work in Africa and CMS must take up the challenge or others will. The Methodists Hirst, Brown and Davies are already making advances. |
