| Description | He criticises the debiting of expenses for stores sent out 1804-1806 and by Capt. John Macaulay 1808 to the missionaries when they did not know their allowances until 1806 and then found that these were only £100 p.a. dating from 1804. They found themselves burdened with a debt that they had not any chance of paying. 22 Aug: Renner has received Butscher's letter of 6 Jun from London, saying that their accounts have been accepted, to Renner's intense relief. He sends account of extra expenses incurred for 1812 for repairs, furniture and redemption of slaves. He thinks that Nylander is settled on the Bullom shore. |
