| Description | Mrs. Klein's letter to Scott respecting Fernandez has led CMS to send Fernandez a present of £25 worth of E. India goods and tools, accompanied by a letter from Wilberforce [see E4/117]. If he were willing to make over a large tract of land to CMS, and offer security, a Christian Institution could be set up which would become a civilizing influence in his country. Klein should fully discuss this. |
