DescriptionHe settled at Bullom without encouragement but with a grant of land from Gov. Maxwell, a copy of which he encloses.
Writes the housing is very damp but stone buildings would be too expensive. He recommends the area for a permanent settlement and suggests wooden buildings. He now has over 40 children there.
Sperrhacken has died during the period of his wife's confinement. At first she took his illness well but when informed of his death she was struck down. At first she seemed to recover but then became unwell. She threatens suicide and accuses others of trying to kill her. At times Nylander has had to confine her to her room.
